When I press the power button, F1-12 will light up, along with the power button, but that's about it. Context: This laptop previously had a Windows upgrade (not an update) to it. WebWell, thanks for the comment, but as I mentioned in my post, the actual problem is with the UEFI firmware itself. It takes something like 12 seconds for the firmware to load (that is, just for the "Lenovo" logo to disappear). Whereas Arch loads completely in around 9-11 seconds.
