For dwarves this is 150-170 years, whereas Humans may die of old age as young as 60, or may live to be as old as 120 years. WebThis will help all dwarves but it's such a big change it's really the first step for mood problems. Anything effecting the adult dwarves is effecting the kids too. Keep miasma away, make good clothes, and lavish meals. Next, you can engrave their room and wait.

You can't control children at all, but unless it a baby, which this doesn't seem to be, they will feed themselves and work farms. But in this version, children born out of wedlock apparently don't count. My current fortress allows one dwarf to be expelled, but not another. It also does not make socio-economic sense because the conditions for child labour do not exist.
